Whew! Remember I asked everyone to wish us a sunny day for our Mountaindale event on May 8th?

IT RAINED ALL DAY. But to our surprise, we had an amazing time at Mountaindale. The food was incredible. Local restaurants to Mountaindale like The Dale, High Voltage, and Forage and Gather did an amazing job at keeping people dry, fed, happy and entertained.

It was our ice breaker for market season and we met a lot of great local folks and other very curious shoppers that stopped by on their way back to Brooklyn and other parts of NYC. It’s so neat to see that a local town draws in crowds from Brooklyn, although I tell you it is worth the drive. These neat cafes and restaurants make you feel like you’re in a Brooklyn corner, but with the local charm that the city doesn’t have. There’s no place like the Hudson Valley, visit Mountaindale – and experience the best of an unique Catskills town.

We want to take a moment and thank all of the shoppers that stopped by our booth, it was so cool getting to know so many people from different places! We look forward to our next one!!!

Mountaindale, you are so cool and I didn’t even know!

Don’t forget that we will do this again on June 12 at 11am. The specific address to our booth this past Saturday was 12 Post Hill Rd, Mountain Dale, NY 12763 (right next to the post office), we estimate we will be in the same spot again.

We will see you June 12 at 11am – for more events and updates on pop ups, markets and boutiques that Made By Francheska is available, check out events page.
